Tree Lightings

November 25: Selinsgrove Tree Lighting in the Commons 6:30pm

November 28: Tree Lighting and Santa Parade in Sunbury. Parade Steps off at 6:30pm.  It will travel north on South 10th Street to Market Street to Cameron Park. After the parade Santa will visit with the children in his home away from home next to City Hall 225 Market Street Sunbury. Hot chocolate and cookies while supplies last.

December 4: 7pm Lewisburg Tree Lighting. Start your holiday season with carols, a dramatic reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and the lighting of the tree in Hufnagle park!

Late Shoppers Nights

December 5: Lewisburg Late Shoppers Night. All stores open late, most until midnight. Strolling Music by Cracked Walnuts from 7-9:30 pm

December 12:  Late Shoppers Night in Danville, 7-11 pm

Holiday Happenings

November 22: Susquehanna Valley Mall Holiday Parade 9am

November 28th: Santa Parade and Tree Lighting Festivities in the City of Sunbury. Parade will form on Raspberry Avenue at 6 pm and step off at 6:30 pm.  It will travel north on South 10th Street to Market Street to Cameron Park.  After the parade Santa will visit with the children in his home next to City Hall 225 Market Street Sunbury.  There will be hot chocolate and cookies while supplies last available after the parade in Cameron Park.

December 5: 9a-7p CHRISTMAS BAZAAR,Featuring: Gift Baskets, Crafts, Longaberger Baskets, Boyds, Homemade Cookies and Candies, and Santa’s Secret Shop for the children. Our “North Pole Diner” will also be serving a tasty light lunch and dinner. At St. John’s Lutheran Church, 300 Queen Street, Northumberland.

December 5 (6pm & 8pm)/ Sunday Dec 7th (1pm 3pm 5pm 7pm):Holiday Express Train Rides , Departure from rear of Zimmerman’s Motors Rt 61 Sunbury, Tickets on sale at Susquehanna Bank( N 4th st Sunbury) & Zimmerman Motors or call 570-286-2764. Tickets will be on sale the day of the trips, while supplies last. Tickets will be $10.00 each- 2 and under free.

December 6: 8-11am Breakfast with Santa hosted by Sunbury Kiwanis. At First Reformed UCC church. (2nd & Chestnut Sts, Sunbury) Adults $5, children $4, gifts and free photo with Santa for children.

December 6: The first-ever Santa Pets Fest in Selinsgrove! Dress your favorite animal in a Santa outfit and register at the Sharon Luther Church starting at 1:15. The parade starts at 2 and will be a rather short walk around town with lots of music and fun!

December 6: 1pm Victorian Holiday Parade in Lewisburg

December 6: 2pm Movie ELF at Campus Theatre in Lewisburg. Free admission with canned food donation.

December 6:  Santa Fest. Beginning at 6pm dress up like Santa, a reindeer, or even an elf and enjoy music and entertainment at restaurants and bars in Selinsgrove.

December 7: Holiday Bazaar 10 AM to 3 PM at SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 131 N. Beech St (West Ave & N. Beech) in Mount Carmel.  Crafts, Catalog/Home Party Consultants, Local Vendors, Theme Basket Auction, Door Prizes, and Great Food (Eat In/Take Out)…Great stuff all in one place! December 7: Nick Biddle hosting a Free Christmas concert. 3pm at Northumberland Trinity United Methodist Church, 300 6th Street, Northumberland.

December 13th: The Buffalo Valley Singers will Christmas Concert “Music is the Simplest Gift” 7:30 PM at St.John’s United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Road, Lewisburg, $5 at the door, children under 12 free.

December 13: Free Holiday Movie “Polar Express” & Bike Giveaway, 5:00 pm, Campus Theatre. Free movie admission in exchange for canned food donation.

December 13:  Reindeer at Canal Park in Danville, 12noon-3 pm.
