SUNBURY — The Degenstein Community Library reminds residents that a library card offers much more than books. Library Director Melissa Rowse says September is Library Card Sign-Up Month nationwide.
The library offers magazines, DVDs, audiobooks and digital access through Libby, along with programs for children and adults. Cardholders can also borrow museum passes, WiFi hotspots, activity bags and blood pressure cuffs.
Library Card Sign-Up Month has been observed each September since 1987. This year’s theme is “A Library Card Hits All the Right Notes.” Library cards are free. More information is available at degensteinlibrary.org.
