Gov. Shapiro Campaigns In Lewisburg During Weekend Of Action
LEWISBURG — Gov. Josh Shapiro brought his reelection-year campaigning to Lewisburg Saturday while helping mobilize Democratic voters across Pennsylvania. His campaign says Shapiro joined local leaders and Union County Democrats for an 11 a.m. canvass kickoff.
Volunteers gathered before heading out to knock on doors and contact voters. Shapiro’s campaign called the events part of a statewide “Weekend of Action” ahead of November’s elections. The event was at the Union County Democratic Headquarters in Lewisburg.
The Democratic governor also scheduled campaign stops Saturday in Lebanon and Berks counties. His campaign says the weekend effort is aimed at organizing voters and supporting Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.
