HARRISBURG — State health officials now reporting 307 measles cases statewide, including 60 cases added during the past seven days. The Department of Health says 34% of cases involve people younger than 18, with no deaths reported. All who have contracted the disease have not been vaccinated.
Local counties continue to report cases, including seven in Centre County and seven in Northumberland County. Snyder County now has six cases, Perry County has four, and Lycoming County has one.
Columbia County is now reporting its first case. Health officials continue tracking the outbreak through the state’s measles reporting system.
