RIVERSIDE — In Northumberland County, the Route 54 railroad crossing project in Riverside is complete, and the highway has reopened to traffic in both directions. The closure had been in place while crews worked on the railroad crossing.
Drivers no longer need to follow the posted detours around the work area. Normal traffic has resumed through the crossing. The project affected eastbound and westbound traffic on Route 54 in Riverside Borough.
