MIFFLINBURG — A Mifflinburg man is in fair condition after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle .
State police say 69-year-old Earl Martin of Mifflinburg was riding on Pleasant Grove Road in Lewis Township, Union County, around 11:30 a.m. State police say Martin was hit by a vehicle driven by Christie Leach of Mifflinburg. Martin suffered what troopers said were ‘serious’ injuries and was flown to Geisinger.
A Geisinger nursing supervisor says Martin is in fair condition .
Police say Leach was charged with driving at an unsafe speed.
