SUNBURY — A reenactment of the Declaration of Independence reading will take place in Sunbury. The Northumberland County Historical Society will present the program at 2pm at Higher Hope Church. The church is located at 1000 Race Street.
The reenactment will recreate the Declaration’s public reading which took place in Philadelphia. The Sunbury City Band will perform during the program. Refreshments will be available for those attending. The historical society is organizing the community event. More information at Northumberland County Historical Society.
