WASHINGTON — A new Quinnipiac (quinn uh pea ack) University poll finds 57% of Pennsylvania Democratic voters believe U.S. Sen. John Fetterman should leave the party. Overall, 52% of voters said he should leave, while 31% said he should remain a Democrat.
The poll shows 69% of Democrats disapprove of Fetterman’s performance, while 77% of Republicans approve. Fetterman says he would leave only if Democrats officially became an anti-Israel party or opposed aid to Israel, calling that a red line.
