NORTHUMBERLAND — Eight local students have been named the 2026 Junior Pineknotters of the Year following this month’s 53rd Annual Pineknotter Days. Organizers are out with a news release, saying the honor recognizes young people who demonstrate leadership, involvement and commitment to Northumberland.
The recipients are Shikellamy seniors Makenzi Musser and Madilyn Brown, and juniors Miles Green and Broden Benner. Shikellamy sophomores Savannah Knepp and Allison Brosius were also selected.
Northumberland Christian sophomores Allison Geise and Sarah Cantine completed this year’s group. The students were recognized as part of the annual weeklong festival at King Street Park.
