ALLENTOWN — Strong thunderstorms moved through the middle portion of Pennsylvania again Saturday afternoon, leaving scattered power outages. It marked the second straight weekend of Friday and Saturday storms that caused damage and disrupted electric service for thousands of people.
PPL’s latest outage report showed 203 customers without power in Schuylkill County, 154 in Columbia County, 133 in Dauphin County, 29 in Northumberland County and 27 in Montour County.
Just one customer remained without power in Juniata County, while no significant outages were reported in Snyder, Union, or Lycoming counties. Crews continue working to restore service where needed.
