SUNBURY — A Sunbury landmark is changing hands after more than six decades in business. A press release says longtime Sunbury Sub Shop owner Maria Leib and her son, Lou Sheller, have sold the Market Street business to Chris and Nichole Snyder. The transition is expected in August.
The shop opened , 1964, under original owners Lou and Jean DiCeglie, and Al and Carol Randello. It moved to its current 712 Market Street location in . Leib says retiring is emotional, but she is grateful to generations of loyal customers. The Snyders also operate The Squeeze-In nearby.
