DANVILLE — The NunRun, fantastic baked goods and music take over St. Cyril’s this weekend. The Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius will hold their 51st Annual Summer Festival at Villa Sacred Heart in Danville. The festival will run from 10:30am to 4:30pm, followed by Mass in the Basilica.
Organizers say the event will include food trucks, live music, a flea market, furniture sale, children’s activities and the Sisters’ Homemade Bakery. A cornhole tournament is also planned.
New this year is the NunRun 5K, which will begin at 9:30am. Proceeds will support the Sisters’ ministries and charitable works. Admission is free. More information is available at sscm.org.
