WATSONTOWN — The Standard-Journal reports a Watsontown man is charged after he struck another man in the face with a pistol. Police say the assault happened around 10:45pm at Watson Mart on Main Street. The Standard-Journal reports 42-year-old Abram Wright is charged with felony aggravated assault and several misdemeanors.
Police say the victim reported Wright threatened him and struck him multiple times with the gun. Police say a juvenile girl was with Wright when the assault happened. Wright was charged and sent to Northumberland County Jail on $50,000 bail.
