SELINSGROVE — A local activist group is urging residents to attend upcoming local meetings about proposed local police agreements with federal ICE. The group says a Selinsgrove public meeting is scheduled for from 6 to 7pm at the borough building.
A Sunbury City Council meeting is scheduled for at 6:15pm at 225 Market Street. The group is also inviting supporters to march in the Lewisburg Independence Day Parade. Snyder Union Northumberland Immigrant Community Support is a local advocacy and community support network based in Lewisburg.
