DANVILLE – Drivers are advised that a bridge cleaning project is planned this week on the bridge carrying Route 54 over the Susquehanna River in Danville Borough in Montour County and Riverside Borough, in Northumberland County.
On Thursday, June 25, drivers can expect lane shifts on the river bridge between West Front Street in Danville Borough and Third Street in Riverside Borough, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew performs bridge cleaning. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting. Drivers should be alert, slow down, watch for lane shifts, and drive with caution through the work zone.
