SUNBURY — A new public art installation will be unveiled in Cameron Park in Sunbury. Sunbury’s Revitalization Inc. says the ThinkSunbury Sculpture Reveal begins at 4pm. Organizers say the sculpture represents both place and purpose in the city.
SRI says the sculpture also marks the launch of the ThinkSunbury brand and community-wide marketing initiative. The project highlights Sunbury’s history, culture, and future.
A second milestone event follows at 5pm with SRI’s 40th Anniversary Family Picnic. The organization was formed in 1986 as a Main Street Program. The picnic includes chicken barbecue platters and live music.
