DANVILLE — A major summer lunch effort is beginning in Danville to help children while school is out. Annie Yagle , manager of the Danville Moose, says “From Schools Out to Schools In” will offer up to 100 bagged lunches each weekday.
Yagle says the Moose is coordinating with many community partners, including local fire companies, churches, businesses, donors, and volunteers. She says the public can still join in.
Beginning , meals will be available at Beaver Place from 11:45am to noon. Volunteers will then continue distribution from noon to 1pm at Washies Playground Pavilion, near Foust and Market streets.
