A woman found dead in a pond in Valley Township, Montour County has been identified. Officials say 73-year-old Darlene Swope of Danville was found dead on May 17th. The investigation is ongoing. The Montour County Coroner’s office is attempting to locate any family of Darlene Swope. Anyone with information on Swope’s family is asked to contact the Montour County Coroner’s office.
