SHAMOKIN — State senator Lynda Schlegel Culver is hosting a free Senior Technology Workshop this week at the Shamokin and Coal Township Public Library. Organizers say Thursday’s event will help seniors become more comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and other digital tools.
The workshop runs from 1pm to 3pm at the library on East Independence Street. Culver says technology can help people stay connected and complete everyday tasks, but it can also be frustrating. Participants are encouraged to bring their devices and ask questions. Registration is encouraged by calling 570-339-5937.
