LEWISBURG — A food and furniture collection is underway again in Lewisburg.
A sustainable move-out effort at Bucknell University is again collecting donated items for families and students in need. Union-Snyder Community Action Agency says it is partnering with Bucknell University and DIG Furniture Bank for the annual Sustainable Move Out program running through .
Organizers say students can donate non-perishable, non-expired food, gently used furniture, household items, and winter clothing instead of throwing them away during move-out week.
Donations can be dropped off at South Campus Building 2, West Campus Apartments, and Swartz Hall, while winter clothing collection sites are located in residence halls across campus.
