SUNBURY — The Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association has hired Katie Cassidy as its new deputy director. Executive Director John Zaktansky, Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper, says Cassidy will help strengthen partnerships, recruit volunteers, and expand funding opportunities throughout the watershed region.
Officials say Cassidy previously spent 12 years helping grow the Wildlife Leadership Academy across Pennsylvania and beyond. Her new role will also support collaboration with nonprofits, community organizations, and environmental partners focused on clean water resources.
Cassidy says she looks forward to building new relationships and taking on new challenges with the organization. Her first day with the association will be .
