SHAMOKIN — WOLF-TV reports a 24-year-old Shamokin man faces felony charges after a crash that seriously injured another person. Police say the one-vehicle crash happened around 7:30am March 5.
Authorities say Pedro Gomez Martinez is charged with aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI. Additional charges include DUI involving alcohol and drugs, reckless driving, and careless driving causing serious injury.
Investigators say the crash happened March Fifth, and Martinez was taken into custody April Fourteenth. Court records show he remains jailed on $30,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May Twelfth as the case moves forward.
