MILLERSBURG — A planned closure on Route 147 in Dauphin County has been postponed and rescheduled for next month. PennDOT says the roadway will now close from 8pm , through 6am .
Officials say the closure affects a stretch between Pearl Street in Upper Paxton Township and Keystone Street in Millersburg. They say crews will remove and backfill an abandoned culvert during the shutdown.
A detour will use Route 209, Wiconisco Street, and Center Street. PennDOT says the work is part of a 4.8-mile resurfacing project. Officials say the project includes paving, drainage upgrades, guide rails, and ADA ramps. They expect completion by , and drivers can check conditions at 511PA.com.
