BLOOMSBURG — A packed Columbia County courtroom awaited testimony in a Hemlock Township homicide case before the hearing was abruptly postponed. The Press Enterprise reports the judge says unresolved legal issues delayed proceedings involving 38-year-old Vincent Harp.
Prosecutors say Harp is charged in the 2025 killing of his 33-year-old wife at their home. State police say her remains were found 10 days later in a locked box down a Montour Township cliff. Authorities say family members reported her missing.
The Press Enterprise reports that the victim’s family attended expecting testimony from six witnesses. Defense attorneys requested more time. A new hearing is expected within four to six weeks.
