The Daily Item reports an attempted homicide case in Shamokin Dam is heading to trial. 33-year-old Joshua Barnhart is accused of threatening to shoot a woman, with several children in the home. The newspaper reports Barnhart fired several shots in the direction of the home and a window where the woman stood. Barnhart waived charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm to Snyder County Court. Barnhart remains jailed awaiting a court appearance in July.
