LEWISBURG — In Lewisburg, police say a couple faces charges after drugs and meth-making materials were found during a child welfare visit. NorthcentralPA.com reports officers responded March 27 with Union County Children and Youth.
Police say a caseworker was checking on a 5-month-old after 25-year-old Breeana Streeter tested positive for methamphetamine. Investigators say they saw items used for meth production inside the apartment.
Authorities say a search uncovered methamphetamine, psilocybin, marijuana, and paraphernalia. Police say 30-year-old Alexander Michael and Streeter face child endangerment and multiple drug charges, with bail set at $5,000 each.
