SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY — Hundreds of volunteers will fan out across the Valley late this week for the Susquehanna Valley United Way’s Day of Action.
Organizers say the annual Day of Action brings people together to meet what they call ‘real community needs’ across five counties.
The United Way says 338 volunteers will support 38 project sites in Montour, Columbia, Northumberland, Union, and Snyder counties. They say projects include painting, landscaping, organizing, and building alongside local nonprofits.
The event runs from 8am to 4pm at sites throughout the region. Organizers say the goal is to strengthen communities by turning local commitment into meaningful, hands-on action.
