HARRISBURG — A statewide board has selected a permanent leader for Commonwealth University after months of evaluation. Officials say the PASSHE Board of Governors unanimously chose Jeffery Osgood as president.
Osgood served as interim president of Bloomsburg, Mansfield and Lock Haven since August before the appointment took effect . Officials say he brought leadership experience from West Chester University and a collaborative approach.
Trustees and a search committee recommended Osgood after interviews and community feedback. Leaders say his priorities include student success, financial stability, and strengthening campus communities.
