BLOOMSBURG — The state Department of Corrections will host a job fair next week to fill positions at SCI Coal Township. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21 from 12pm to 6pm at PA CareerLink Columbia/Montour.
Officials say the department is hiring corrections officer trainees and other roles at the Coal Township facility. Applicants must be at least 18, and a residency waiver allows candidates from neighboring states to apply.
Organizers say no registration is required, and onsite interviews will be offered during the event. Applicants should bring two forms of identification. More information is available at employment.pa.gov/corrections.
