SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY — A regional book drive aims to put stories into young hands. Susquehanna Valley United Way is collecting children’s books through across five counties.
Organizers say the Wee Read drive supports families in the Parents as Teachers program. They say books help build early literacy, strengthen bonding, and support school readiness.
Donations of new or gently used books for ages 0–10 are encouraged. Drop-offs are available at local banks, credit unions, and United Way offices, and more information is at svuw.org.
