SUNBURY — A Sunbury man is jailed after police say he attempted to destroy evidence during a child exploitation investigation. NorthcentralPA.com reports, 42-year-old Brian Thomas Lubold is charged following a search of his apartment .
State police say Lubold reset his phone and threw it in the trash as troopers served a warrant tied to suspected child sexual abuse material. Investigators say a cybertip led them to a cloud account with illicit uploads in January.
Police say multiple devices were seized, including phones, laptops, and a gaming system. Lubold is jailed on $50,000 bail, he’ll face a hearing next week.
