LEWISBURG — A special concert at Bucknell University will celebrate a longtime music director’s career. Organizers say the Bucknell Symphonic Band will perform at 2:30pm at the Weis Center.
The concert will feature alumni spanning seven decades joining current band members on stage. Officials say the performance marks the final concert led by Professor William Kenny after 36 years at Bucknell.
Kenny says the program will include classic band repertoire and Bucknell-themed music. Organizers say the free concert is open to the public and honors Kenny’s decades of impact on students.
