The Daily Item reports a Shamokin man faces corruption of a minor and indecent assault charges after he allegedly had inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old girl. The newspaper reports Sunbury police charged 76-year-old Daniel Flowers of Shamokin. Police said the victim claims the incidents happened when she was six or seven years old. Flowers is accused of kissing the child and forcing her to touch him inappropriately. He was arrested on Tuesday.
