SUNBURY — A Northumberland County man faces felony charges following a child exploitation investigation.
State police say 42-year-old Brian Thomas Lubold is charged after a search in Sunbury. Troopers say the investigation began after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Officers say that led to a search warrant at a North Second Street home.
Authorities say evidence was found on electronic devices supporting multiple charges. Police say those include possession of child sexual abuse material and use of a communication device. Officials say the case involved several local, county, and federal agencies. Bail is set at $50,000.
