WILLIAMSPORT — The Standard Journal is reporting… A Northumberland man will spend up to 20 years in federal prison for producing child pornography. Officials say the sentence involves crimes against a 12-year-old Coal Township girl.
The newspaper reports, 57-year-old Howard Miller III was sentenced by Chief US District Judge Matthew Brann. He must register as a sex offender, pay fines, and serve 10 years probation.
Tha Standard Journal reports, the federal sentence will run alongside pending Northumberland County charges, including rape of a child. State police filed those charges, and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at the county courthouse.
