DANVILLE — Montour County is inviting residents to attend two public meetings as part of its comprehensive plan update process.
Montour County officials say the two sessions will focus on sharing the proposed “Forging the Future” plan and gathering final public input from residents across the county.
The meetings will be held from 3pm to 5pm at the Montour County Administration Building, and from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Montour Preserve Visitor’s Center. Planners say the comprehensive plan serves as a roadmap for future decisions involving land use, housing, transportation, recreation, and infrastructure.
They say community participation is key to shaping priorities and guiding long-term investments. Officials say the final plan will be presented for adoption by county commissioners later this year. More info at MontourCounty.gov.
