WILLIAMSPORT — Pennsylvania College of Technology says its campus food pantry received a $40,000 state grant. Officials say the funding will support The Cupboard, which serves students facing food insecurity.
Penn College says demand for the pantry has increased, with more than 850 students served last year. Officials say usage is expected to grow to about 1,000 students this academic year.
The college says the grant will help provide fresh food, groceries, and emergency meal support. Officials say the funding also supports students during breaks when campus services are limited. More information is available at pct.edu.
