MILTON — Giving people a second chance is at the heart of a seminar next month.
A workforce seminar in Milton will highlight reentry programs during Second Chance Awareness Month. The Central PA Chamber will host the event from 9am to 11am at its Lawton Lane office.
Organizers say representatives from federal corrections, workforce groups, and nonprofit partners will present. They say topics include reentry resources, the First Step Act, and employer engagement strategies.
Officials say the session will focus on helping individuals successfully return to the workforce and their communities. Registration is required by at centralpachamber.com/events.
