TREVORTON — Zerbe Township supervisors delayed a decision on whether to terminate the township police department. The News Item reports supervisors tabled the vote night to gather more information. Officials say the township’s one-man police department was suspended in November. Supervisors say state police have been providing additional coverage in the township. Supervisors say possible expansion plans at nearby recreation areas could bring more ATV traffic. Officials say they want more information before deciding.
