LEWISBURG — Firefighters from across the region responded to a two-alarm fire night at Playworld along Route 192 near Lewisburg.
Crews were dispatched just before 8pm after smoke was seen coming from the building. The Standard-Journal reports that first-arriving firefighters requested a second alarm as they found smoke showing from the structure.
The newspaper says the fire was brought under control, and crews focused on ventilating lingering smoke inside the building. Responding departments included Lewisburg’s William Cameron Engine Company, along with crews from Milton, Mifflinburg, White Deer Township, Union Township, and Shamokin Dam.
The Standard-Journal says no injuries were reported, and additional details were not immediately available.
