A former Middleburg woman will spend six months to two years in prison on charges of welfare fraud. NorthCentralPA.com reports Holly Hoffman, whose current address is Turbotville, plead guilty in July 2025 and was sentenced on December 5th in Snyder County. Hoffman admitted to obtaining public assistance by fraud by collecting benefits over an 18-month period after intentionally misrepresenting her financial information on state forms. She collected more than $2,400. She paid back the money on the day of her sentencing hearing.
