DANVILLE — A holiday event in Danville will pair cocoa, cookies, and a visit from Santa. Local police agencies say the gathering is designed to create a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. The Riverside, Danville, and Mahoning Township police departments are hosting the event with the Montour County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers say children can enjoy free hot cocoa, cookies, and time with Santa. The event, called Cocoa with the Popo, is scheduled for from 9am to 10:30am. It will be held at 453 Mill Street in downtown Danville. Organizers say the event is open to families throughout the community.
