MAHONING TOWNSHIP — The Daily Item reports… A Danville woman remains in critical condition after a Nov. 19 pedestrian accident on Bloom Road. Police say the incident happened around 11:30am near the intersection with Huntingdon Avenue.
72-year-old Donna Ranck began crossing the roadway as a vehicle approached. They say Ranck stepped into the path of the moving car, and the motorist was unable to stop in time. Ranck was taken to Geisinger and the Daily Item reports; she is in critical but stable condition. Emergency crews assisted at the scene, including Geisinger Ambulance, East End Fire Company, and the Montour County Sheriff’s Office.
