SUNBURY — WellSpan Health says a new donation will prevent the shutdown of the Stop Hopper microtransit service across several rural counties. According to the health system, its $16,500 gift will keep the on-call service running in Union, Snyder, Northumberland, and Columbia counties.
The mission is to make sure transportation is not a barrier to accessing medical care. WellSpan leaders say transportation access is a key health factor, and supporting Stop Hopper helps residents reach appointments and essential services. More details are available at rabbittransit.org.
