SHAMOKIN DAM — Football fans from across the Susquehanna Valley gathered for a rare look at the Heisman Trophy. The visit brought together generations of players, coaches, and fans, including several from Mifflinburg Area High School. W&L Nissan said the event celebrated community pride and the shared love of football.
Attendees described it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the iconic award, which honors the top player in college football each year. The Heisman Trophy will be presented again in December to this season’s most outstanding college athlete.
