UNDATED — is General Election Day in Pennsylvania, and polls are open from 7am to 8pm. Voters will decide statewide judicial seats, local common pleas court judges, and county offices including coroner, controller, prothonotary, and register and recorder.
There is a race for Northumberland County coroner between incumbent democrat Jim Kelley and republican challenger Scott Lynn. There is a race for judge in the Columbia/Montour judicial district, between attorneys Anthony McDonald and David James.
There are contested races in many communities, mayoral contests exist in Selinsgrove and Milton, and there are school board races in many communities.
Officials remind voters that mail-in ballots must be received by 8pm at the election office. Polling sites are listed at www.VotesPA.com.
