RUPERT — Police in Columbia County’s Montour Township say a man from Sunbury drove his car into the rocky embankment along Rupert Drive on near Catawissa and was critically hurt. The Press Enterprise reports 19-year-old Julian Derr-Rosius crashed around 9 a.m., which caused the car to flip and land on the railroad tracks nearby. Derr-Rosius was partially ejected and the car erupted into flames. The chief said a passerby got the man out of the burning car until further help arrived.
