BLOOMSBURG — A play coming up in Bloomsburg addresses an important topic. .
Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble will open its 49th season in Bloomsburg with “Cry It Out” through 20. The play follows three new mothers facing Pressures at work, with finances, family pressures and postpartum mental health challenges.
BTE says the production is meant to encourage conversation and connection among new parents. Special performances will include New Mom Night, a baby sensory-friendly matinee, and Parents’ Night with free registered childcare.
A diaper drive will also benefit families served by the Bloomsburg YMCA Community Resource Hub. The production will later tour Milton, Williamsport and Sunbury. Tickets and tour information are available at bte.org/cry-it-out.
