NORTHUMBERLAND — Several borough streets will have temporary no-parking restrictions beginning Tuesday as a road work project gets underway. Northumberland Borough says milling and paving will continue through September 11.
Work includes Seventh Street between Orange and Prince streets, Orange Street between Park Avenue and Front Street, and Sheetz Avenue between Front and Second streets. Fifth Street between Hanover and Prince streets is also included.
Borough officials say milling will begin on Seventh Street and continue through the other locations. Fifth Street is scheduled to be milled and paved Wednesday. The borough is asking residents for cooperation while crews complete the work.
