DANVILLE — A popular weekly drawing at the East End Fire Company social club is now at the center of a dispute with the state. The Press Enterprise is reporting…The LCB recently seized more than $6,500, along with the club’s Queen of Hearts game materials. They say the game is not among the approved small games of chance.
Club trustee Larry McClure told the Press Enterprise; the board was only used to determine payouts for an otherwise legal weekly drawing. McClure says the club had discussed the game with the Montour County District Attorney beforehand. He says the club plans to challenge any citation issued.
